Description
Ok for a while now I have wanted to try and water colour...cause lets face it the last time I did...it was a disaster XDDD. So I decided to try again, using the technique that I learned from Neopikos..work fast and keep the work area wet but controlled.
This was what I came up with. My scanner killed it a little so you will have to forgive the colours...also this is my first time really using Water colours to please be a little forgiving of my lines and stuff. I found that the more I work with them..the better I'm liking them :3
I would also like to thank Cleocat for saying that I could do it no problem if I put my mind to it X3

Pretty awesome, a little 'odd' in places, but better than I could do,and his eyes are well shaded and highlighted, the curve in his spine drives me so very insane... it's easy to see why people ditch it, and actually,I think he only has it in SA, SA2, SonicX and SaTSR, in other character designs it's absent or different, in which seeing I think 'Sonic's anatomy - UR dOEN it RONG!'
Because:
1.When I started liking Sonic he looked like this.
2. I find it more urm...aesthetic in general.
3.Despite being utterly irellavant (I can't help myself),It's most anatomically practical- I have the urge to justify as to why,but it'll probebly be obvious, but I will say, in Sonic the hedgehog 06 -when his shape is so retarded there's no wonder the way he moves is retarded...I'm surprised he can run at all.
Some random thoughts...
1.How much of a dork can I get? Disgussing the anatomy of a game character...Kinda,sorta...LAME.
So yeah, for those reasons I will never get let lazy and ditch it, it's just plain hypocritical.
2. His legs are a tad too short
3.I've got some cool shots that I use as reference, want some?
4.I'm looking through your gallery now - awesome stuff!
